All travelers entering Aruba by air must complete the Embarkation/Disembarkation (ED) Card before arrival. This digital form collects essential immigration and health information and is required for all visitors, including tourists, residents, and Aruban citizens.

A separate ED Card must be filled out for each trip, and the entire process is completed online before your flight.

Passport Guidelines

Your passport must be valid for the entire duration of your stay in Aruba

Ensure it is not damaged and has blank pages for entry/exit stamps

Immigration officers may request proof of onward or return travel

Travel Information

Be ready to enter your flight number, arrival date, and accommodation address in Aruba

The ED Card is only required for entry, not for departure

Proof of Accommodation

Be prepared to present your hotel booking, Airbnb confirmation, or the full address of your stay

Immigration officials may request host contact details for verification

Health & Safety Declaration

Travelers must complete a brief health declaration as part of the ED Card

If you’re feeling unwell before travel, consult your doctor before flying

Customs & Declarations

You must declare high-value items, such as large sums of currency, electronics, alcohol, or tobacco

Prohibited items include illegal substances, weapons, and items restricted by local laws

Duty-free allowances apply for limited quantities of personal goods

While not required, it is strongly recommended to have travel insurance that covers:

  • The local currency is the Aruban Florin (AWG)
